Presidents Palace can accommodate 21 guests and is suitable for hosting events up to 300 guests.

Presidents Palace is situated in the business hub of Midrand Johannesburg, and is within short driving distance of other key hubs such as Johannesburg CBD, Sandton, Fourways, Kyalami, Pretoria, and Centurion.

 

Accommodation

Presidents Palace can accommodate up to 21 guests in our apartment-style and hotel-style rooms. Our meticulously designed rooms offer a blend of opulence and comfort, featuring hand-selected décor, high-quality furnishings, large windows and balconies with breathtaking views. This is a strictly non-smoking venue however smoking is permitted on the balconies and in the spacious gardens.

En-Suite Rooms

Events Centre

Presidents Palace has a uniquely modern decor and layout which makes it perfect for all occasions. Let us know what your needs are.

We are able to cater for the following:
Small functions – birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, kids parties, bridal shower, bachelor parties, baby showers, christening.
Large functions – elegant pre-weddings, weddings, dinners, cocktail parties, music shows, comedy shows.
Corporate events – year-end functions, product releases, product showcases, seminars, boardroom meetings, specialist classes, training, graduations.
Services – Funeral services and memorial services.

Our facilities include three large lounge areas on the ground floor which may be uniquely decorated to suit the booked event and may be cordoned off from the rest of the Centre at the client’s request. One lounge is elevated and may be used as a stage overlooking the two other lounges or used the other way.

Braai Area

For those who prefer the outdoors, we provide a 150 square meter covered patio entertainment area that can accommodate up to 50 people seated depending on setting and is furnished with a functional braai area. We have a beautiful 8 seater Jacuzzi for those who enjoy life. This area is surrounded by a large open garden which can accommodate a tent to extend the seating area.

If the client requires to accommodate more guests we have sufficient space to erect a marquee which will accommodate up to 400 people.

Dining Lounges

Clients who require privacy can hire a private facility, situated in a secluded part of the Centre, which can accommodate up to 20 people seated. We have conference tables which can be added to accommodate your meeting team requirements. Our dining lounge is set up with Italian glass tables and 100 Tiffany chairs. Please communicate additional requirements via email.

Entertainment Lounge

The VIP Entertainment Lounge has gorgeous crushed velvet chairs and Cleopatra chaise lounges. The adjourning Entertainment Lounge is a favourite after formalities dance floor.

Seminar Facility

The seminar facility may also be utilized for seminars and training sessions in which case we can accommodate up to 100 people seated. Pictures may vary depending upon the clients’ requirements.

Photobooth Facility

Give your event that extra sparkle and provide your guests with awesome entertainment, which captures memories. The Photoboth facility is available at no charge to guests who have booked an event.

Our super-sassy stylish open-plan photo booth creates a showpiece, which allows all of your guests to get involved in the fun. We understand that each event is unique, so our facilities are easily transformed to create a setting that is just right for you.

Transport

Presidents Palace offers local transport to our guests and an Airport shuttle service on request as per tariff. These must be booked 2 weeks in advance for those wanting to visit the Kruger National Park to view the Big Five game, Blyde River Canon or other distant destinations and 1 weeks notice for local attractions such as Lori Park Zoo, Soweto Mandela Monuments or local hikes.

Transport must be booked in advance through our reception or when making the booking.

Parking

Presidents Palace offers valet parking on request in advance and our premises can accommodate parking for up to 50 cars.

Venue Hire excludes:

  • All food, beverages and gratuity.
  • Event staff.
  • Outdoor furniture.
  • Marquee, tables and chairs.
  • Wedding or Events Planner.
  • Dance floor.
  • Decorations and flowers.
  • Additional lighting and PA systems.
  • Disco Lights and music system.
  • TV’s.
  • External caterers may present their own menus.
 

Catering

Our staff endeavour to prepare nourishing and delicious meals during your stay. All meals are as per tariff unless stated otherwise.

At Presidents Palace our focus is on celebrating the bounty of our colourful nation producing fresh food using the best quality seasonal ingredients, grown with consideration for the earth, and sourced from our local farmers and foragers.

We cater delicious multi-course meals and platters for all occasions, big and small, and can accommodate special requests through our selection of highly professional preferred partners. LITTLE GUJARAT Restaurant & Catering provides delicious pure vegetarian food. PURPLE LOUNGE Catering provides a broad selection of the best non-vegetarian Halaal dishes.

  • All food cooked on-site by Presidents Palace staff is halaal certified. We do not prepare any meals containing Beef or Pork.
  • We do not serve alcoholic beverages.
  • For guests who stay in, breakfast is extra and available on request at time of booking. The breakfast may consist of eggs, sausages, toast, coffee, cereal, cheese or fruits.
